Cross-Cultural Leadership — China, Latin America & Beyond
I help leaders and organisations navigate the human complexity of working across cultures — combining philosophical rigour, real-world experience across China and Latin America, and the facilitation skills to make hard conversations productive. I work in English, Mandarin, and Spanish.
"The hardest conversations aren't about what's being said — they're about what's being assumed."
I spent years working inside Chinese education systems and consulting with businesses navigating one of the world's most complex cross-cultural environments. That experience didn't just teach me Mandarin — it taught me how differently people reason, lead, and build trust when the underlying frameworks are fundamentally different.
I bring the same depth of understanding to Latin America. As a fluent Spanish speaker with lived experience across the region, I work with leaders navigating the relational dynamics, institutional complexity, and cultural intelligence that doing business in South and Central America demands.
My background in philosophy and literature gives me an unusual lens: I'm trained to notice the assumptions hidden inside language, the logic structures beneath an argument, and the moments when a conversation changes not because of what was said — but how. I work in English, Spanish, and Mandarin.

Principle 01
Most cross-cultural friction isn't about manners or miscommunication — it's about fundamentally different frameworks for how decisions should be made, how trust is built, and what leadership is supposed to look like. I work at that level.
Principle 02
The most powerful facilitation tool isn't an agenda or a framework — it's the right question at the right moment. My philosophy training taught me to find the assumption hiding underneath a stated position. That skill is just as valuable in a boardroom as a seminar room.
Principle 03
Coaching that produces lasting results starts with genuine comprehension — of the person, their context, and the constraints they're actually operating within. I don't apply frameworks; I help people build their own.
Principle 04
The situations that most need a coach or facilitator are the ones that resist easy answers. I'm drawn to complexity, and my background across cultures, educational systems, and business environments means I can hold nuance without flattening it.
Every engagement starts with a 30-minute exploratory call — no commitment, no pitch. Just a conversation to understand what you're navigating and whether I'm the right person to help.
